A blast from the past. I was looking through some of my old photos and came upon this one. This beautiful lion was sleeping under a tree when we came upon him. He was sleepy and somewhat annoyed at our presence so he decided to move 10 feet away. This shot was taken right before he sat down again and was obscured by the brush. They are just so damn beautiful. Hard to believe they’re real sometimes. It was all I could do to keep myself from running over, throwing my arms around him and rain kisses all over that gorgeous face. At least my cat at home lets me. Begrudgingly, but he lets me.
