Interestingly enough, i found this crab wedged between two rocks in the middle of the rain forest. Granted, he was about 10 feet from a stream, but truthfully, I didn’t know crabs that large actually resided under the canopy and so far from the ocean . It was so unexpected, but there he was snapping at my foot as if I was walking on some beach. He’s quite a mug don’t you think?  ~Costa Rica
